All About Red Worms

MORE ABOUT OUR WORMS

We are getting a lot of requests for our worms and want to make sure folks know that Kitsap E-Z Earth uses a special variety of red worm called Eisenia fetida. These worms are not your typical garden worms (those are called earth worms). Please Note: You cannot put a container of Eisenia fetida red worms in your garden because they will crawl off in search of a good aged manure pile. For more information about worms that make vermicompost, please visit Worm Facts.

Kitsap E-Z Earth is owned and operated by Peninsula Services.

The goal of this innovative business model is to create training and employment opportunities for people with disabilities living in Kitsap County.

For more information on Peninsula Services, and our many projects devoted to providing life enriching experiences for persons with disabilities, please drop by our web site with the link provided above.   Thank You!
