Kitsap E-Z Earth, having met the required standards of the USA National Organic Program, is now officially registered with the Washington State Department of Agriculture Organic Food Program for use in food processing of 100% organic produce and products.

Extensive testing of Kitsap E-Z Earth was conducted by Twiss Analytical Labs in Poulsbo and we are proud to report we received a Class II organic fertilizer rating. This means the vermicompost has excellent content and is completely free of any toxins, making it extremely safe to use around children and pets.

We are getting a lot of requests for our worms and want to make sure folks know that Kitsap E-Z Earth uses a special variety of red worm called Eisenia fetida. These worms are not your typical garden worms…those are called earth worms. You cannot put a container of Eisenia fetida red worms in your garden because they will disappear in search of a good aged manure pile.
